I’ve Got A Job To Do

Recently, the question was asked of us, “What have you been doing to get The Littles ready for Ethiopia?”  We have been doing different activities and discussions, but our best preparation and discussion has come through a book called, I’ve Got A Job To Do.

I’m a reader and am interested and curious about what books people are reading and if they’d recommend them, so here is my toddler book recommendation!

The Littles have loved books in this series since Angie introduced the “My Favorite Verses” books to us. As one year-olds, the books could hold their attention as they have a good rhythm and bright, yet simple illustrations. This book would definitely be appropriate for toddlers but older kids could learn and appreciate it too.

The Littles have also taken this book to the next level and when it is time for naps or some other equally loathsome experience, the busy themselves with something near and proclaim, “I’ve got a job to do!”.

Happy Monday!
