Maybe it is only because we are preparing to leave our home that I notice it. Life is so sweet right now, when trying to describe it, I can only come up with food words and analogies.
It’s delicious, it’s precious, it’s fleeting.

We have started our travel blitz. It is potentially going to be very draining but OH SO MUCH FUN.
I can’t wait to show you pictures from last weekend when we spent a wonderful time with extended family on a dairy farm and the girls and I adventured. ;)
As I want to soak up the moments of sweetness, there is an ebbing feeling of loss and heartache. I know I’m kind of a broken record in this.
This picture, full of sheer glee and delight, comes with pain as I think about the cousins The Littles will hardly see.
But it’s okay. We drink up these sweet moments and know God will continue to provide joy and refreshment. We look forward to our travels. Bring it on, life!

Hi Amy,
I totally understand what you are feeling. In my last blog post, "heart reflection" I actually tried to explain that same feeling. Like leaving a good family get together or friend hang out and you get in your car and you just cry, knowing moments like this won't be around forever. I had no idea it would hit so soon but reality is definitely sinking in. Praying for you and your family; see you guys in a few weeks!

Not really any words for this post, just tears. I pray that God blesses you for the sacrifices you are making.
I know how you are feeling, Amy, although the pain is not as real to me as we still have a couple of years before we actually move overseas...but we were talking today in our married ladies' chapel about reasons to take our families to the mission field. It was so great to be reminded of biblical truth--my flesh needs to hear it often! Hope we can get together soon:) Love you guys lots.
