“Stop”

Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement.  We appreciate it more than we can express.

Hip, hip hooray for double carts!

While out getting groceries The Littles draw a lot of attention.  This is now only accentuated by Little A’s waving at each passerby and saying, “dop, dop, dop” (stop). She picked up this word from her most recent favorite song.  :) Two of my favorite artists, Andrew Peterson and Randall Goodgame have combined and done a great project for kids.  It is so fun!

slugs bugs  check out www.slugsandbugs.com to see more about this cute project.

About 70% of the people we pass stop and say something to us.  About 75% of those are the same comment.

What do you think is our most frequently heard comment?

most frequent comment..."are they twins?" People can be so observant sometimes, can't they?? Ha!

"Awwww, twins!" Thats my guess:) However, I would like to think that people would say, "awww, how cute." :)

Since we hear ALL the time, "Are they twins?" that's definately one I would guess. I keep saying that one day I want to give an obnoxious answer back but I haven't had the nerve yet. : )

Although, "are they yours or are they adopted?" would be up in my guesses too.

they're too cute.

My guess is: "are they identical"? I had fun with them last night at grandpa and grandma's. They are quite the entertaining pair.

My first thought was that people ask you "are they yours?". Seems people ask silly questions. I think if this is the question you get you should say "nope, I stole them" and see how they react:).
THey sure are two little cuties!!

I also have identical twin Ethiopian Princesses we adopted as babies. They are 4 now. I have had nearly four years of experience with this so I think I have the answer....

"Are they twins?" (but with a surprised look on their face)

We actually had them DNA tested a 1 year to confirm because I found that the next question was, "Are they identical?" and we weren't sure so now I can quickly answer the second question without having the 3rd come which was, "How do you not know?"

Another top question we get is "Who was born first?". I am not sure why that is so important, but it is a question we get all the time.

Even with all the questions I wouldn't trade it for the world! Being the mother of identical twin girls rocks!

Enjoy your girls. They are beautiful! -Crystal

And how could they not stop?!!! So much cuteness in your sweet girls. I can't pass them without stopping either! ;-)

I agree with Denise. "How could they not stop?"
I would probably not only stop, but turn my cart around and follow you... and maybe try to swipe one or both of them for a quick snuggle.
Sometimes I am appalled at what strangers will do to/with my baby (and I know you have some stories yourself), but when I look at this picture... really, I think we have to give them credit for restraining themselves. How do they keep their hands off? I think its almost impossible!

I recently found your blog-- so cute! As a mom of twins, I will draw from past experience-- "You have your hands full!" To which I want to reply, "Better full than empty!" Your girls are adorable.

I am going to go with the woman at the fair that one time, "How did they get so dark?"
Honestly, they are cute. This is such a cute stage too! I hope that you are enjoying every moment of it. Take each moment and do as Mary did with Jesus, "ponder them in your heart". Hope you are well. Suzy

When I hear "you have your hands full" with my almost 3 year old twins. I like to respond "I like them full rather than empty". A response I heard from a mom of 4 little girls.
