Growing up in the Midwest, I would occasionally feel cheated in the winter that we had NO HILLS on which to sled. Looking back, I realize that farm girl sledding was just as full of fun and peril as any hill could have ever had.
Yesterday, The Littles experienced sledding like I remember, well almost, we would use a four-wheeler and usually spend part of the time stuck.
After shanghaiing Daddio and Uncle Jeffy, we were set.
Here we go, on the fields of untouched snow!
The Littles were having a blast but could not keep their eyes open because of snow spitting in their face.
Problem solved. Ready for round two.
And, one more blessing of Jon working on the farm…
We weren’t snowed in for long!
