Embassy Date

Drum Roll Please!  We have our Embassy Date.  :)

It looks like we have an April 21st embassy date, which means, we will leave on April 13th(ish) and return April 24th.  All of this said, we do have to wait for confirmation from the Embassy and according to my understanding, that doesn't usually come with much advance notice.

We are choosing to buy tickets for those days, but the tickets come with an "change fee", so if we aren't confirmed, we won't be out all of our ticket cost.  Pray with us that we are confirmed for this date!

When I heard the date, I admit, I had some sniffles (partly because I am fighting a wicked cold!) but also because it is 3 weeks later than we were tentatively told.  Each day seems like this should be the day that they are in our arms!  However, we know that God is good and He is in control and so we trust in Him and know the little hiccup we are facing is in His Plan.  We have more time to prep and we probably really need it.  With that said, I am making a conscious effort to enjoy the sunshine and pray this cold isn't the end of me!  ;)

Some Nesting Shots

I painted the nursery a few weeks back. As I was pressing to get a lot of house projects done, I told Jon about the concept of "nesting".  One night, as he was putting together the crib, changing table, etc, I said, "Oh, Jon, you are nesting!"  He must have felt that is a little feminine. He informed me, "No, I am building the nest!"
