All it took was a few days of warm weather and Daddy is dreaming about boating.
Jon proposed we also take The Littles sailing this summer and I reminded him of their HATE for life jackets and the need to be realistic in our expectations for boat time for us.
That did it. Family “boat training” time on a cold February night, indoors. Jon was super excited and would not be talked out of it, “Go, get the life jackets, ours too, I’ll get ready!” I shut all the blinds, rolled my eyes and got the life jackets.
The boat turned from the chest to empty diaper boxes.
Looks like we will be boating after all this season!!!

Second, I was just thinking the other day that the girls are looking so grown up! Maybe all of the walking and running around has made them lose a little baby fat or something, I don't know... but even since their 1 year pictures... what little ladies, and so much personality! Certainly keep them babies for as long as possible! :) I just thought I'd tell you that I think they are such sweet little GIRLS, too! :)

it definitely helps when the boat is actually moving on water and the wind whipping thru the hair. Yor girls will love it!! Soon they will be skiing too:).
Just reading about boating makes me super excited to get ours out of storage too:)!! Hurry up spring...

They are getting too big! Pretty soon, you won't be able to get the life jacket or the swimmy off.

This has got to be one of the funniest things I've read in awhile. Love it! Good memories of boating with the Fiechter fam--skiing on the boom was the only thing that kept me from sinking!
