Okay, the title is going to have little to do with the post, but please pray that Tuesday is incredibly different than today. The girls must have heard me telling everyone how content they are in church and decide to shake things up a bit. :)
On with the post!
The girls now both love Cheerios, the problem with this is they lack the motor skills to pick them up and put them in their mouths. So far, the Cheerio process involves the girls with their arms and legs straight out, tongue out, shaking in anticipation, making sounds until I put the Cheerio on their tongue.
Jada was in the Bumbo with the Bumbo tray. Jada is the girl who takes her food seriously! She grew frustrated about the lack of Cheerios in her mouth and took matters into her own hands.
Or rather...she took things into her own mouth. She would use her arm to sweep herself a pile and go down with her tongue out.
She wasn't so good at getting them into her mouth, but she was not deterred...
Jada improved her strategy greatly through the night...
In the meantime, Adia watched from the high chair, she tried to lower her face to the tray, but because of how the chair was made, she couldn't get her face over the lip of the tray. She tried without success with her fingers.
This is the look she gave Jon when he told her, "Come on Ads, you can do it!"
She had enough frustration for one night. We gave her Cheerios on her tongue.
Jada, well, she needed no help. ;)
