Kittens

Look at these four little fur balls. :)IMG 1602

It makes me think of the four we left.

We have to exercise great caution with cats (carrier of rabies without any visible symptoms) but hope to get in some good play time. We will see if Injibara kittens are as tolerant as Indiana kittens. :)

The sun has set and Jon is in Addis. We are here and we have power and internet!  No cell phone service but my heart is calm. Tomorrow afternoon, The Littles and I go to Bahir Dar by minibus. Thank you for all your prayers!  Barb gave me a verse that is highly appropriate. "If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet." Proverbs 3:24

I was sure hoping you would be able to experience kittens before you go back to Addis. God is good! It will be fun to hear what the girls decide to name them. Prayers on your behalf as you take a mini bus to Bahir Dar!

I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog. Your stories about the cultural differences have me reading on and on. Beautiful photos too.

Love the little fur balls! Adorable and so fun for the girls!:)
Praying for you to have a heart that remains calm and sleep remains sweet.
Reminds me of those good ole days when I babysat you kids... I never feared of darkness or things going on outside....but Ill tell you... when I took a friend along and she informed me of every noise outside, and for the first time there was that fear(and boy did I want to kick out that friend, ha). I learned to always know Christ is there to protect and bless us with a sweet peace while Satan is there to destroy the peace and stir the pot.
Just thought Id share, precious memories will always be something Ill treasure, especially those wonderful babysitting days!! You kids are amazing!! Praying for you dear Amy!!
Much love, Heidi
